With more summer lifts open than any other destination in the world, you’re never short of options on a Les Gets mountain bike and activity holiday. Combined with the nearby Morzine, and part of the Portes Du Soleil, this pretty summer resort offers some of the most extensive biking, hiking and Alpine activities anywhere in Europe.

With over 70 activities to try, many of them free on an Alpine Elements multi pass, a Les Gets mountain bike and activity holiday offers incredibly active, fun and exciting summer breaks. With all levels of ability and ages catered for, it makes a great destination for a single, group or family adventure.

Les Gets was one of the first ski resorts to start catering for mountain bikers in the summer months. As a result, the facilities for riders here are second to none and the development continues at quite a pace. With over 1,000 kilometres of tracks, trails and routes to explore – all served by 25 specially adapted ski lifts – you can quickly and easily get up to start points for some incredible cycling.

Other activities

As we’ve mentioned, with over 70 other activities to try, when you’re not on two wheels you can be doing something else. From more traditional mountain sports like hiking, kayaking and climbing to more modern activities like hydrospeed, parapenting and much more, this is the definition of an ‘activity holiday’.

Along with all biking and trail passes being included in the price, some of the activities such as tennis, rafting and freshwater lake access are also included in the free multi-pass.

Family fun

Les Gets is a real family destination. All the activities cater for many levels meaning there is always something for the kids to try. They’ll get the chance to broaden their horizons, push themselves, make new friends and enjoy a holiday they’ll never forget.

The charming resort centre also offers a nice mix of hotels, a lively café scene and laid back atmosphere. There are regular festivals and cultural events in the town throughout the summer that are well worth checking out, as well as regular live entertainment.

Visit the nearby Lake Montriond for a fun day of relaxation with swimming, sun bathing and a picnic. After all, you’ll need a day or so to relax after all the excitement.
