You can easily drive through Pasang Lhamu highway reaching Rasuwagadi, Tibetan Border to reach Syafrubesi, the gateway to Langtang trekking. Varieties of animals including musk deer, Himalayan Black bears, Himalayan Tahr, langur monkeys, ghorals, the rare snow leopard, and the red pandas, and numerous trees including oak, blue pine, maple, and also the rhododendron flowers make the National Park rich in flora and fauna. It resembles partly the Sagarmatha National Park, and the southern side has also subtropical vegetation.

Yala Peak Trekking and Climbing one of the biggest opportunity for the beginners in the peak climbing and mountaineering scene as it is a non –technical climb. What to expect

Itinerary for the Yala Peak Trekking and Climbing Expedition

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu
Welcome to Kathmandu. As you descend down into the airport, on a clear day you will see a panoramic view of the snow-capped mountains. As you exit the airport a member of our team will be there to greet you and transfer you to the hotel for a welcome meeting and then the rest of the day is yours.

Day 02: Kathmandu – SyabruBesi (1,550m)
Enjoy the scenic drive from Kathmandu to SyabruBesi taking in the beautiful scenery before the long days of hiking begins.

Day 03: Trek to Lama Hotel (2560m)
Day 3 takes us from Syabrubesi to Lama Hotel, walking along the Bhote Koshi River and Langtang Khola passing through a village.

Day 04: Trek to Langtang (3400m)
Today we will trek 6 hours from Lama hotel to Langtang via Ghodatabela. When we reach Ghodatabela, the trail emerges from the first and we will stop for lunch at the Thangsyep before continuing to Langtang.

Day 05: Trek to Kyanjing Gompa (3870 m)
Today’s trail climbs gradually through small villages and pastures. We will cross several streams until we reach the settlement of Kyangjin Gompa. There is a small monastery and a cheese factory. Today will also provide great photography moments.

Day 06: Free Day in Kyanjing Gompa for Acclimatization
Today is a day to acclimatize, explore and have a good rest. Just to keep the momentum, we have a couple of options either hike to Kyangjin Ri or walk up to the moraine to see spectacular views. Besides, you may also enjoy some local produce cheese at the famous Government operated cheese factory.

Day 07: Trek to Yala Peak Base Camp (4350M)
To reach the Yala base camp we will trek along the rocky glacier trail, and prepare to be taken back by the views of Ganchenpo, Naya Kang, Tserko Ri, and Yala Peak.

Day 08: Summit Yala Peak, 5732 M (Summit Day) and descend to Kyanjin Gompa
Today’s adventure begins with an early morning climb to Yala Peak. The views of Shishapangma, Dorje Lakpa, and Ganchenpo to name a few, will stun you with their natural beauty. Later we will return to base camp for hot juice and lunch before descending to Kyangjin Gompa.

Day 09: Trek back to Lama Hotel
From Kyangjin Gompa we will take the route back to Lama Hotel through the Langtang Khola, Langtang village and onto the Ghoda Tabela. We will stop for lunch along the way.

Day 10: Trek to Syabrubesi
Today we head back to Syabrubesi and wander to the village. Today we will get an insight into the culture and customs of the Tamang community. There is also the opportunity to relax in the sun with the majestic views of the Himalayas.

Day 11: Drive to Kathmandu after Big Climbing to YALA PEAK
Today we will drive back to Kathmandu which will take around 6 hours. However, upon arrival in Kathmandu, you will have the rest of the day free to do whatever you want.

Day 12: Finished the Tour and Departure
Our support team will take you to the airport for your flight. CONGRATULATION you have completed the 12 day expedition in Nepal!!!
