Wildnerness Fishing Itinerary:
You can spend a relaxing evening and nice meal at our main lodge, and then in the morning fly in to one of our 7 remote cabins in the heart of Wabakimi Wilderness Park, Canada, far away from roads or civilization.
We will fly you in our legendary DeHavilland Otter or Beaver floatplane. You will have the whole lake to yourself! Enjoy your days swimming, paddling, boating, fishing, or just soaking up the tranquil Wabakimi wilderness. Canoes, kayaks, and motorized boats are all available. All the outposts have superb fishing for delicious walleye and monster great northern pike.
Two outposts also have lake trout. Cabins include fully equipped kitchens and can accommodate 2 - 10. One will even hold 20! There are excellent chances to see wildlife including eagles, moose, otters and the rare and threatened woodland caribou. Host Bruce Hyer is a caribou biologist and forester, and can chat with you about the boreal forest. Most people go for a week.
