Sri Lanka’s ancient cities and wildlife are the most popular signs among world travellers. In order, Anuradhapura and Polonnaruwa are consecutively first and second ancient cities as well Kandy is the final ancient city in Sri Lanka. These cities are showing magnificent glorious townships, palaces, temples, monasteries, hospitals, and theatres intricately carved and modelled out of stone lay and abandoned and forgotten with time amidst the soaring jungles.
Yala and Udawalawe are another incredible wildlife zone and most of wildlife travellers’ iconic place. Udawalawe National park takes confined of Asian Elephant home but Yala National Park shows spectacular Asian elephants, Sloth Bear, Leopards, Samber, and wild buffaloes attract the attraction and enthusiasm of wildlife Nature Lovers.
Day 01 Airport – Colombo (Travel Time: 45min) (BB)
Upon your arrival at Bandaranayake International Airport in Katunayake and one of our representatives meet and greet you at the airport who will take you to Colombo then you will check in to the hotel. Afterward, start your Colombo city tour with your guide and a chance to buy some Sri Lanka’s quality production. Then you will return to the hotel for relaxing and a reminder of the day.
Day 02 Colombo – Sigiriya (Travel Time: 2hrs) (BB)
Enjoy your breakfast. Today we start Sri Lanka’s ancient cities and wildlife camping holiday by heading out of Sri Lanka’s cultural triangle. First, we are leaving Sigiriya before midday with your belongings. Enter the Sigiriya and check in to your hotel for relaxing after the long journey. In the evening you will have to visit Sigiriya Lion rock for the observing premises. Later you will be back at the resort for your dinner and overnight.
Day 03 Sigiriya – Polonnaruwa (Travel Time: 45min) (BB)
You will have some breakfast; today you will leave towards another exciting ancient city of Polonnaruwa and enter the ancient city with your travel expert who will explain an included site in Polonnaruwa. Afterward, you are reaching Parakrama Lake for breathtaking and relaxing. Later you will come back to the resort.
Day 04 Sigiriya – Anuradhapura (Travel Time: 01hrs & 30min) (BB)
Enjoy your savoury breakfast; today you are going to explore the largest and first ancient city of Sri Lanka, Anuradhapura. You will have explored plenty of ruins and monasteries there. Later you will return to the hotel for spending the final night in Sigiriya.
Day 05 Sigiriya – Kandy (Travel Time: 01hrs & 20min) (BB)
Rise early and take some breakfast then you will be packing your belongings before checking out the hotel and today you will leave towards Sri Lanka’s last Kingdom of Kandy city. Enter the Kandy city and you will be installation hotel in Kandy. Take a rest couple of hours and heading out to explore the Kandy city includes Temple of Tooth Relic.
Day 06 Kandy – Udawalawe (Travel Time: 04hrs) (HB)
Rise early and you will have taken your breakfast. Today you will be leaving towards Udawalawe for the evening safari at Udawalawe National Park. Afterward, you will start the evening safari before check in to the campsite. Later you will enter the campsite for the overnight.
Day 07 Udawalawe – Yala (Travel Time: 02hrs) (HB)
Enjoy some breakfast, today you will leave another magnificent safari to Yala National Park before midday en-route visit Elephant Transit Home at Udawalawe. Check in to the campsite for relaxing then you will start an exciting night walking trip around the Yala National Park then will be back to the campsite for overnight and reminder of the day.
Day 08 Yala full day safari (FB)
Rise early and visit the Yala National Park to start another exciting full-day safari in Yala. You will be served a packet of breakfast and lunch during the safari. Take in the amazing wildness experience of the infamous national park. Later you will be heading to the hotel for relaxing and a reminder of the day.
Day 09 Yala – Colombo (Travel Time: 05hrs) (BB)
Today you leave towards Colombo for spending your final night in Sri Lanka. Before leaving you will have enjoyed your breakfast. Then you will check in to the hotel. Relax for the next day’s departure.
Day 10 Colombo – Airport (Travel Time: 45min)
After a late breakfast at the hotel, you will depart for the airport, marking the end of your trip.
