Ski touring with Jasna Adventures will be just like any other Jasna Adventures holiday with all our usual services included – the only difference is we’ll be touring up the mountain each morning rather than riding lifts (most days you will still get some lifted runs in).
We’ll arrange the kit, instruction, and lead the touring each day making sure you are safe, enjoying yourself, and learning new skills that will broaden your skiing opportunities in the future.
If you can walk and ski, you can ski tour.
Whilst some fitness is required, you don’t need to be an ironman athlete or “young and dumb” to enjoy a day touring up and skiing down! It’s not a race and we move at our own pace. Nor do you have to be an off-psite skier.
We’ll start on the first night with an introduction to ski touring kit and an overview of what to expect on the first day. Day 1 will start with a short tour of walking up the piste over 1-2 hours, getting familiar with the equipment, and skiing back down the piste to get the feel for skiing in the lighter ski-touring skis and bindings.
During the week we'll progress to more advance touring trails both in and outside off the resort bounds and with the option to ski down the piste or find an off-piste line. The beauty of Jasna is the easy access to both piste and off-piste terrain within the resort bounds.
