Spend 3 nights at Warthogs Safari Camp, enjoying a Lake Kariba multi activity adventure in Zimbabwe discovering what the world's largest man made lake has to offer.
Lake Kariba is situated on the northern border of Zimbabwe. It was built to provide hydroelectric power to both Zimbabwe and Zambia and stretches over 280km from East to West.
Kariba town is located on the eastern shoreline and provides an ideal location to stop over for a few days on your way to/from Mana Pools, Matusadona National Park and Zambia. During your stay you will have the chance to get onto the lake for some game viewing and perhaps try your hand at some fishing.
During this Lake Kariba multi activity adventure in Zimbabwe you will also be treated to in-house knowledge of the Kariba ecosystems during a guided walk of the area. We also visit the dam wall and the Heights, where there are commemorative sites to those who gave their lives to the building of the wall. To complete your stay there is an opportunity to see the Lake from the sky with a parasailing experience from the water….the ultimate “selfie” opportunity!!
