For many, a trip to Nepal alone is one of the most memorable times of their life, mix in heliskiing on the roof tops of the Himalaya and you end up with a trip that is almost beyond belief. Powder Mad have partnered with the legend that is Craig Calonica and his Heli operation based in Nepal. To date Craig has heliskied in the Everest, Annapurna, Dhauligiri and Humla regions of Nepal. The first and only heliski company in Nepal with 2021 marking the 20th year in operation. This trip will concentrate on the Annapurna mountain range. We will meet you in Kathmandu and take light aircraft transfer to Pokarra where we will be based for the week, Heliskiing Monday through Friday with a spare day on Saturday in case there has been a no fly day.

What to expect

Himalayan heli-ski / heli-board holiday in Nepal: Itinerary.

Your journey begins as you arrive in Kathmandu on Saturday where you rest and relax from the flight. We fly out Sunday from Kathmandu to Pokhara. We check you into the hotel you’ll stay at for the week, and then go through an orientation with the guides, fit skis, etc. We ski Monday through Friday using Saturday as a back up day if needed, even if we use Saturday for a makeup day, we are still back in Kathmandu, Saturday afternoon. All the major airlines fly back to Europe and other foreign destinations in the late afternoon or evening which means you’ll be able to fly back home Saturday or stay and extend your trip
