PriceFor the ultimate freeride snowboard trip in Georgia, Heli-splitboarding in Gudauri and Svaneti is an experience you will never forget! A 2 week trip finding fresh lines and dreamy powder in the Caucasus Mountains in the far east of Europe.
Until very recently Georgia wasn’t thought of as a top ski destination in Europe and the extensive area was shared by just a few locals and the occasional daring ski tourist. This slowly started to change over the last decade though and in the last few years interest has rapidly grown. Now the word has spread and people are coming in from Europe and the rest of the world to see the amazing skiing Georgia has on offer.
This 2 week trip is a powder lovers dream. Expect to have to put in some leg work – after all the best lines are rarely free. In the area you can ride everything from cruisey powder bowls to steep couloirs and tree runs to cliff drops, ultimately if you like it steep and deep (or just deep!) this place will have frothing at the mouth with excitement.
Spend some time in the resorts of Gudauri and Svaneti taking advantage of the lifts for easy powder, plus head out of bounds under your own steam. The trip also includes a few days with heli drops deep in the backcountry totally isolated from the real world. Here the mountains will be your personal playground free to explore as far as your legs will take you.
As with any Snowbusters adventure, we won’t just guide you to the best lines, we also teach you the skills you need to stay safe and ride with more style. We’ll cover avalanche safety, practice rescue situations and address deficiencies in your technique.
The final itinerary depends on the conditions and weather. However, we’ll fit in some splitboarding, cat-skiing, lift accessible off-piste both in- and out-bounds and, of course, squeeze in the time to down a few jars. We will visit the following areas:

7 – 8am
Wake up, have a relaxing breakfast, coffee, ... We will meet up at 9.30am on the slope.
9.30am - 12pm
Skiing & snowboarding with Snowbusters coaches/guides, coaching if required.
12 - 13pm
Lunch in local restaurant or cafeterias on slopes.
13 - 15.30pm
Skiing & snowboarding with Snowbusters coaches/guides, coaching if required.
17pm
Dinner and apré ski / apré ski and dinner?
