On this first ascents Kyrgyzstan expedition you with be mountaineering Kuiluu Range. A rarely visited area of South East of Kyrgyzstan with many unclimbed peaks.
The region is situated in Issyk-Kul Lake region to the south of Terskey Ala-Too ridge in the interfluves: the Kuilu river in the north, the Uchkul in the south, the Sarydjaz in the east and the Irtash in the west. The range stretches for 50 km to the north-west.
Altitude reaches 5,281 m (Konstituzii) relief is more dissected than one of the Akshiirak with elevation up to 1,100m. Among numerous glaciers there are a lot of rocky walls and various stages of icefall. Majority of peaks are unclimbed which gives a good perspective for first ascents and new routes.
The range of difficulty for mountaineering Kuiluu Range is quite wide from the easy routes to moderate. Mountains are formed by metamorphic and igneous rock. Four main sub-regions can be identified in Kuiluu region, such as the Northern, Southern, Eastern and Western. Each region has different access and development.
All tourists must have a medical insurance for the particular activities with a minimum coverage of USD 35 000.
Border permit is required and must be arranged preliminary. Paper work takes 5-6 weeks.

Day to day plan for first ascents Kyrgyzstan expedition
1st Day. Arrival to Bishkek
Arrival in Bishkek. Accommodation in a hotel. Meeting with the company's representatives and discuss further expedition’s details. Take border permits.
2nd Day. Bishkek – Karakol
Transfer to Karakol town. Overnight in Guest house
3rd Day. Karakul – Kuiluu Range
Early morning transfer to Kuiluu Range by vehicle till the end of the route, reach climbing area by foot or by horses. Horses can be hired from local nomads (this service can not be booked in advance).
4th – 12th Days. Acclimatization. Climbing and Mountaineering Kuiluu Range
13th Day. Kuiluu Range – Karakol
Transfer to Karakol. Rest and overnight in a guest house.
14th Day. Karakol – Bishkek
Comfortable car or minibus will pick you up from the guest house after the breakfast. Long driving to Bishkek. Rest. Overnight in Hotel.
15th. Day. Departure
Early check-in, airport transfer, departure.
