On this Dinosaur Delights Chewore & Zambezi canoeing safari in Zimbabwe we take a slow meander down the Zambezi River, discovering Elephants, Pterodactyls and more.
This Dinosaur Delights Chewore & Zambezi canoeing safari in Zimbabwe starts at Warthogs Safari Camp in Kariba. Here you stay in en-suite safari tents on the shores of the lake in one of Kariba’s game corridors. Elephant, Zebra and Hippo are frequent visitors.
This is then followed by 3 nights gentle guided canoeing down the Zambezi River from Chirundu to Mana Pools. This has to be the most elegant and serene way to view game, unwind and destress. Then we spend 2 nights in Mana Pools enjoying the plethora of game that Mana is home to…we can go in search of Lion in the early morning, perhaps a spot of fishing for our supper and finish off with a game drive and sundowners by the river.
We then continue on to Chewore for 3 nights in search of dinosaurs and taking in the most amazing scenery. The last night is spent back at Warthogs.
