Start the day with the morning public catamaran transfer to the island Hvar, from where we depart for our sea kayak adventure. We paddle to the group of small islands called Pakleni Islands, located in front of Hvar town. The origin of the name goes back to the old days when the islands were the main source of rosin for local shipbuilders. Today, just like then, the islands are covered with thick pine woods providing refreshing shade even during the hottest summer days. The route through narrow straits and along the islands reveals small hidden pebble beaches, where we will enjoy the privilege of having, at least temporarily, a beach of our own, where we can swim, snorkel and relax.

Passing by lavender fields, ancient stone walls and traditional villages we arrive to the south coast of the island from where we continue the walk along the coastal rocky path. The turquoise sea will be calling you, so we plan a short swim break just before we arrive to town Hvar. The evening is at your disposal, enjoy coffee or gelato at the main square and watch the world go by. Check out historical sites dating back to the 7th century, the Venetian loggia and oldest public theatre in Europe.

It is one of our most remote inhabited islands, it used to be the British Military Mission Headquarters and later an important Yugoslav army base (and was therefore closed for foreign visitors till the 1990s). Due to these restrictions, the island is nowadays still authentic, preserved and simply said stunning. Weather will dictate our route, but we will definitely enjoy swimming and snorkeling activities in between sailing.
