On a Bodø Alps splitboarding holiday there are a large number routes available. We will skin between 600 and 1000m of elevation gain per day. We will adapt the itinerary to your desires plus the ski and fitness level of the group.
We take stock every day to ensure the best sail and freeride in Norway possible for the snow conditions and navigation. Most hiking routes allow for crossings rather than loop routes. Which is extraordinary from an experience for Bodø Alps split boarding holidays in Norway.
On a Bodø Alps splitboarding holiday there are a wide range of routes are available to us. Typically we will hike between 600 and 1000m each day. And of course what foes up must come down!
We adapt the itineraries to the fitness, wishes, and to ski ability of the group. Each day we adapt the itineraries, according to the weather and to the snowpack.
You will ski tour everyday being dropped off and picked-up by the boat. Then you sail to the next spot.
Sail and freeride in Norway: Itinerary
Day 1 (Saturday): Bodø
We welcome you at the airport and manage your transfer to our boat, docked in the center of Bodø. You can enjoy the city for a while. We get onboard from 6 p.m. Overnight on board.
Day 2 (Sunday) to day 7 (Friday): splitboarding and sailing
After a generous breakfast, we prepare our picnic on board the boat.
We are then dropped on a beach.
The hiking route is different every day. We are committed to helping you discover uncrowded and original routes. And of course, the most beautiful peaks.
An example of a beautiful hike is to climb the slopes to Trollvatnet (Trolls Lake). This is dominated by superb peaks including Durmalstinden (876 m). Beautiful alpine atmosphere guaranteed!
We can also let ourselves be tempted by the highest point in the region: the Helldalisen (1351 m). From the Sandbaken pontoon, we will go up under the Båsunen to the glacier. At the top, a view of Lofoten and the region\'s peaks are majestically placed on the water.
Day 8 (Saturday): Bodø
We leave the edge at 9 am at the latest, with the superb Norwegian lights in our eyes.
