Elephants, buffalos, and pythons are easily seen crossing your path, unbothered by your benign presence as they go about their daily routines.
You will spend the day meandering along bush tracks and exploring the Tarangire River’s twists and turns. If you are lucky you will find elephants drinking and playing in the refreshing waters. After your hunting expedition and breakfast, you will make your way to Serengeti National Park. Head up the winding, switchback road through the Ngoronogoro Highlands and into the Serengeti for an evening/sunset game drive before heading to your overnight campsite. However, please don’t let this distract you from the beauty of this place or from the fact that this remains one of the only places on earth where you may see all of the Big Five (lion, leopard, bull elephant, African buffalo, and black rhino) at once. To maximize your time on the crater floor you will enjoy a special boxed lunch at a scenic picnic spot.
Your journey will take you throughout this tremendous landscape that is consistently changing as animals move to and fro in search of pasture, water, or easy prey. In the evening you will ascend out of the crater and drive back to Arusha for dinner and your overnight at the Mvuli Hotel.
