Wildebeests migration is the best even one can experience during his visit to Tanzania. Wildebeests migrations migrate from southern Serengeti to Ndutu plain and in mid-may, they are around kirawira and mbalageti area getting ready to cross Grumeti river and enter Ikoma and ikorongo area on their way to north Serengeti Mara river area in mid to late July to September before they cross the Mara river area. Then enter the Kenyan side Masai mara game reserve and from November they move slowly down to southern Serengeti. Here you enter the Ndutu plain from mid December to February whereby the calving season starts. Its so interesting to witness wildbeests migration while in mara river area ready for the cross or enjoy the calving season in ndutu plain from February each year.
Day 1: Kilimanjaro Airport/Arusha
On this day our driver/guide will pick you up upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport. You will then be driven to Arusha Town where you will be checked into the Mvuli Hotel where you will have dinner and settle in for your overnight stay.

Day 2: Arusha - Tarangire National Park.
After breakfast, you will check-out and travel to Tarangire National Park, crossing the Maasai Steppe along the way. Tarangire National Park is Tanzania’s fourth largest park and one of its most diverse. You will make a stop at the picturesque park gate for registration and then embark on a full day game drive. With the impressive Great Rift Valley Escarpment coming into view, you will see elephant, buffalo, and python, as you cross plains, unbothered by your benign presence and going about their daily routines. The drive will take you along bush tracks to explore the Tarangire River where you will find more elephant drinking and playing in the water. Later in the afternoon you will arrive at the Sangaiwe Tented Lodge where you will check-in, have dinner and settle in for your overnight stay.

Day 3: Full day in Tarangire National Park.
After a very early breakfast, you will check-out and then embark on a full day game drive in the park. The drive will take you through the rift valley wall as you make your way to Karatu for dinner and overnight. On the drive, you will see elephant, buffalo, python and so much more going about their daily routines as you cross their path. Your journey along bush tracks will take you to explore the Tarangire River’s twists and turns where you will find more elephant drinking and playing in the refreshing waters. Your journey will take you to Eileen's Trees Inn where you will check-in, have dinner and then settle in for your overnight stay.

Day 4: Karatu/Lake Ndutu plain.
After an early breakfast, you will make your way to the Ndutu area for your full-day migration tour where the plains are teeming with hundreds of thousands of wildebeest crossing the plains in migration search of fresh grazing land. Your game drive will take you around Lake Ndutu as you make your way through the endless plains of the Serengeti. Your drive will take you to the Tanzania Bush Camps for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 5: Lake Ndutu - Serengeti National Park.
After breakfast, you will check-out and embark on a full-day game drive experiencing hundreds of thousands of wildebeest and zebra crossing the plains in search of fresh grazing grass. If you tour in February, you will experience the calving season where the Ndutu plains are covered with new life. Your game drive will take you down to the Serengeti National Park where you will check-in at the whisper Tented Camp for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 6: Full time in Serengeti National Park.
After breakfast, you will drive out for a full-day game drive on the endless plains of the Serengeti National Park. Your drive will go from sunrise to sunset viewing hippo and crocodile at waterholes and the big cats, including cheetah, leopard, and lion. In the evening you will drive back to camp for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 7: Serengeti National Park/Ngorongoro Crater rim.
After breakfast, you will check-out and spend half of the day on a game drive in the endless plains of Serengeti National Park. You will break and enjoy lunch and then spend the second half of the day traveling to Ngorongoro with game drives en-route. Upon arrival, you will check-in at the Rhino Lodge. You will have some time to relax before dinner and then settle in for your overnight stay.

Day 8: Ngorongoro Crater floor/Arusha.
You will rise early for breakfast and then check-out and travel to the Ngorongoro Crater to spend half of the day exploring the crater floor. The crater is world-renowned in reputation and beauty, and is one of the only places on earth where you may see all of the “Big Five”. To maximize your time on the crater floor you will enjoy a special boxed lunch at a scenic picnic spot. Your journey will take you throughout this tremendous landscape that is constantly changing as animals move to and fro in search of pasture, water, or prey. In the afternoon you will ascend to the rim and drive back to Arusha Town for dinner and your overnight stays.

Day 9: Arusha/Kilimanjaro airport.
