What to expect

3-day Uganda gorilla safari holiday from Rwanda: Itinerary.

Day 1: Transfer from Kigali, Rwanda to Bwindi National park, Uganda
Amity Safaris’ driver tour guide will pick you up either at Kigali airport or at the hotel of your stay, brief you about the entire trip and then proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park through Chanika or Katuna border post. Upon arrival in the afternoon, you may choose to go for an optional Batwa community walk where you will be entertained and given tales of their unique culture.

Meal plan: Lunch and dinner
Lodge: Rushaga Gorilla Heavens Lodge, Buhoma Community Rest Camp, or Ichumbi Gorilla Camp Lodge depending on availability

Day 2: Mountain Gorilla trekking at Bwindi national Park
The day will commence with an early morning breakfast and then proceed for a briefing by game rangers on the eve of the trek about the entire Gorilla trekking process. After briefing you will start your trek through the thick rainforest vegetation lasting for about 2 to 6 hours depending on where the Gorillas will be but spotting them will be worth it and paying off.
After trekking, you will return to the lodge to take a rest then later dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Transfer to Kigali, Rwanda
This will be the last day of your 3 days Uganda Gorilla trekking safari from Rwanda. The day will commence with breakfast upon which you will head back to Kigali, Rwanda for Kigali genocide memorial and Kigali city tour as you conclude your 3 days astonishing safari. After Kigali genocide memorial and Kigali city tour you will be dropped off to Kigali Airport for your flight or at the Hotel for your stay.
