This is a short wildlife safari that includes the highlights of Tanzania’s best safaris National parks. The tour allows you to get a real taste of Tanzania wildlife photographic safaris. It is one of few short itineraries that will take you through both Ngorongoro Conservation Area and Tarangire National Park.
The ngorongoro crater floor is a home for residence wild animals which are the big five like Rhino, elephants, Buffalos, leopard, lion and other species of animals like zebras, antelopes etc. It is strange all the wild animals leave together with Masai communities with their livestock\’s. You will also visit the famous Tarangire national park which is famous for big herds of elephants and the landscapes is gorgos.
Expect to see the big five and all other wild animals like giraffe, buffalos, antelopes, zebras, elephants, lions, Leopards, cheetah, wildebeests, hippos, flamingos, ostrich, Kori bustards, crown crane, secretary birds and other big and small birds.
Day 1 of your 2 Day Tanzania Camping Safari in Africa: Arusha/Tarangire national park.
Wake up early at 5:40am for breakfast before our driver pick you up from your hotel at 6:00am and drive to Tarangire national park for full day game drive. Tarangire national park is the Tanzania’s fourth largest and one of its most diverse. Stop at the picturesque park gate for the driver to fill up the parks registration book before you enter the park for game drives to evening whereby you will drive through rift valley wall on your way to ngorongoro base area for dinner and overnight at Hhando coffee lodge.
Elephants, Buffalos, pythons are seen easily regularly cross your path, unbothered by your benign presence and going about their daily routines. You’ll meander along bush tracks and explore the Tarangire River’s twists and turns, finding elephant drinking and playing in the refreshing waters.
Day 2: Ngorongoro crater floor/Arusha town.
Rise early for breakfast whereby you will drive to Ngorongoro for a full day exploring the crater floor. The area is world-renowned in its reputation and very small in its scale, so you will see other safari-goers.
Don’t let that distract you from the beauty of the place or from the fact that this remains one of the only places on earth where you may see all of the Big Five at once: Lion, Leopard, Bull Elephant, African Buffalo, and Black Rhino. To maximize your time on the crater floor you will enjoy a special boxed lunch at a scenic picnic spot. Your journey will take you throughout this tremendous landscape that is constantly changing as animals move to and fro in search of pasture, water, or east prey. In the afternoon ascend to the rim and drive back to Arusha. (End of the trip).
