What to expect

14-day multi activity holiday: Itinerary.

Day 1: Arrival into Kigali

Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, your guide will greet you and transfer you to Heaven Boutique Hotel for overnight stay.

Day 2-3: Explore Kigali

After breakfast, embark on a comprehensive city tour including the Kigali Genocide Memorial, Belgian Memorial, Nyamirambo Women Center, Umusambi Village, Kimironko Market, and Question Coffee. Return to Heaven Boutique Hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Transfer to the South - Azizi Life Experience

Travel to Azizi Life for an immersive day living as a local artisan, participating in communal activities, learning artisan crafts, and supporting fair trade. Overnight at Centre d'acceuil Mater Boni Consilii.

Day 5: Transfer to Nyungwe NP - Colobus Monkey Trek & Gisakura Tea Tour

Track black-and-white colobus monkeys in Nyungwe Forest and visit Gisakura tea plantation. Overnight at Top View Hotel.

Day 6: Waterfall Hike & Canopy Walkway

Day 8-9: Lake Kivu Kayak Adventure - Kibuye to Gishayu

Embark on a kayak adventure from Kibuye, exploring the 'Bay of Islands' and Napoleon Island. Camp overnight on an uninhabited island, then continue kayaking to Kinunu and transfer to Gisenyi. Dinner and overnight at Paradis Kivu.

Day 10: Hike Muhungwe Mountain & Transfer to Volcanoes NP

Hike Muhungwe Mountain, then transfer to Volcanoes National Park for overnight at Tiloreza Volcanoes Ecolodge.

Day 11: Mountain Biking in Volcanoes & Mukungwa River Canoe Trip

Enjoy mountain biking in Volcanoes NP and a canoe trip on Mukungwa River. Overnight at Tiloreza.

Day 12: Mountain Bisoke Hike (OR Dian Fossey Tomb Hike) & Ellen DeGeneres Campus Visit

Choose between hiking Mount Bisoke or visiting Dian Fossey's Tomb, followed by a visit to the Ellen DeGeneres Campus. Overnight at Tiloreza.

Day 13: Golden Monkey Trekking & Visit Twin Lakes
