A 10 night Solomon Islands scuba dive holiday on the Bilikiki liveaboard is a dream come true. Dive with mantas, sharks, schooling jacks, barracudas and more on some of the healthiest coral in the world.There are huge drop offs, caves and wrecks to explore plus great macro life.
Water temperatures year round are 28-30 deg C with consistently great visibility. Ideal for everyone from first timers to veteran. Beginners with enjoy the flat protected waters amongst the tropical islands. With up to 5 dives a day and unlimited snorkelling experienced divers will be in their element.
Remote and truly beautiful the Solomon Islands is a diver’s dream destination. Part of the coral triangle with a staggering diversity of marine species, coral and dive sites, it somehow remains one of the least dived areas of the world. For some culture you can visit traditional villages and
can buy locally made carvings.
The MV Bilikiki is among the great liveaboard dive boats of the world. At 125 feet long and 24 feet wide she is spacious and offers unparalleled comfort at sea. Bilikiki has 10, air-conditioned double or twin-share staterooms all with private facilities. It carries a crew of 11, plus 2 managers who are responsible for diving and ships operations. The crew are well-trained, friendly, attentive and professional.
On a 10 night Solomon Islands scuba dive holiday we also visit the Marovo Lagoon area of the Western Province. Plus we will dive the Florida Islands, Russell Islands and Mary Island.
The Bilikiki will stop at other villages to see the famous wood carvings of the area. Here you will have to chance to see and buy hand made carvings and other amazing traditionally made items. We will also visit a village to see custom singing and dancing and to have a look around and meet some of the locals.
Village visits are arranged during the surface intervals so as not to effect the number of dives offered per day. We offer 4 day dives and a night dive and although there is no fixed itinerary here is an example of some of the dive sites which we normally do if the conditions allow.
