Day 1 Arrival to Rwanda - Meet and Greet
Welcome to Rwanda! We will pick you up from the airport and transfer you to Heaven Boutique Hotel.
Day 2: Day 2: Discover Kigali and reflect on the past
On this day you will do Kigali city tour by visiting different attractions in the city. Overnight at Heaven Boutique Hotel.
Day 3: Spend a day in a life of a local artisan & Stay in Butare
On this day you will visit Azizi Life that honors local artisans by connecting them with global customers. To the Azizi Life Experience you will immerses yourself in village life, from communal chores and shared meals to learning artisan crafts like weaving. The day ends with reflection and fair trade shopping, supporting sustainable livelihoods. Overnight at Centre d'acceuil Mater Boni Consilii
Day 4: Transfer to Nyungwe National Park- Colobus Monkey Trekking & Tea Tour
You will have the opportunity to track the black-and-white colobus in Nyungwe Forest National Park. In the evening you will visit Gisakura tea plantation that will enable you experience and learn the art of picking tea leaves, wander through the lush tea estate to adventure close the variety of parallel ridges of tea plus the attractive mountains that provide a beautiful back drop for the plantation. Day 5: Waterfall hike & Canopy walkway
Visit the newly discovered waterfall in Nyungwe National Park. As you start to hike higher into the forest, enjoy the gorgeous views northwest to Lake Kivu and the Democratic Republic of Congo. Day 6: Chimpanzee Tracking & Transfer to Lake Kivu (Karongi)
Setting off very early at 5am, you will transfer to a section of Nyungwe Forest known as Cyamudongo, where most of Rwanda’s habituated chimpanzees are located. Spend an amazing hour watching a troop of wild chimpanzees in the forest! Afternoon transfer to Karongi Lake kivu and overnight at cormoran lodge.
Day 7: Adventure kayaking trip on Lake Kivu & Karongi Coffee Tour
Explore Lake Kivu on a peaceful kayaking journey along the shores of one of Africa’s Great Lakes and You will have the chance to visit a nearby fishing village.
