Haka overland holidays in New Zealand

In many ways, New Zealand is the ideal destination for an overland holiday. Spectacular scenery and natural environments are complemented by unique island life and culture, creating the perfect mix of experience and adventure. And if you’re planning on going, then it makes sense to go with an award-winning company independently ranked as the number one tour operator in New Zealand.

Haka Tours logoHaka Tours was founded in 2006 with one goal in mind: to create amazing experiences where travellers could immerse themselves in the real New Zealand. And they’ve been doing it better than anyone else ever since.

What makes Haka tours different?

New Zealand is a country that’s always been popular with travellers. Its stunning and completely unique landscapes provide the perfect opportunity for both adventure sports and exploration. So, there are unsurprisingly a few companies offering tours around the islands.

However, there are a few key reasons why Haka stands out and why they’re considered the best. Firstly and most importantly, you won’t be treated as just another number. Haka tours offer the personal approach from start to finish. From the moment you enquire until the end of your tour, they’ll make sure that all your questions are answered in detail and that you’re made to feel as welcome and part of the family as possible.

On some other tours, you’ll feel like you’re just another passenger on the bus. Sitting for hours on end with 50 other people as the countryside and real life experiences pass you by. With Haka you’ll travel in small groups and you’ll be able to experience overland holidays in New Zealand up close and personal.

You’ll be pushed to your limits and thrown into situations that will enthral and excite. It’s all about creating life-long memories and unique experiences. Overland tours should be more than about simply stopping for photo opportunities (although there’ll be plenty of those too).

All their tours have local Kiwi guides who know and understand the area, and you’ll also be treated to the most interesting and unique accommodation.

Depending on which tour you choose, you get to experience activities like a gondola ride in Queenstown, the world famous Tranz Alpine Railway and carving your very own ‘tiki’ pendant, amongst many others.
