Get closer to nature on our Tulum skin diving and snorkelling experience in wonderful Mexico. This is a 5 hour session.
To enjoy your experience, even more, gain more comfort in the water with our Skin Diving program. You will learn snorkelling and skin diving techniques to get closer to nature. This is a great way to explore the cenote while refining your skills. Effortless venturing underwater for short visits, free of heavy gear.
Your instructor will ensure that you will have a safe and unforgettable personalised cenote experience. Showing you the highlights of the area, with different aquatic life and great views.
If you haven’t got any experience with snorkelling, scuba diving isn’t your thing or you want to go beyond regular snorkelling, this is perfect to learn while visiting the cenote!
Prerequisites
8 years and older
Basic swimming skills
Understand and signed the “Skin Diving release form“

Skin diving and snorkelling to the cenote is generally half a day. The day starts at 8:30 AM. Wherever you stay in the area of Playa del Carmen to Tulum, you will be picked up from the reception or a close agreed meeting point (occasionally due to inaccessibility at resorts).
Your instructor will cover the knowledge development with you at Maya Blue (or cenote).
Following with a thorough briefing concerning skin diving skills and buddy-procedures, safety, cenote regulation, history and any points of interest.
After everything is crystal and you’ll have a good understanding what you can expect, we will provide transportation to go to the cenote.
We insist on small groups and have private vehicles available, to avoid overcrowded mini-vans.
Arrived at the cenote, you will start practicing skills. Once you mastered the skin-diving techniques, your instructor will show you around the jungle area, cenote facilities and the points of easy entry and exit.
Once in the water, the guide will start guiding the cenote. There will be opportunity to enjoy the (included) lunch and beverages.
After the lunch, you will have some free time at the cenote. Finally, after exploring the cenote our guide will drive you back to your accommodation.
You will arrive at your accommodation around 14.00 PM to relax after a beautiful day with Maya Blue.
