Itinerary for the Howling Trail hiking & wildlife watching near Cartagena
At 6:00 a.m. we drive north of Cartagena towards the north of the Bolivar department, only 1 hour away from the walled city.
Once here, We hike a trail to explore the Tropical Dry Forest, an ecosystem which is endangered in the tropics due to the urban expansion and the agriculture.
During the exploration we discover the flora, the fauna of this incredible ecosystem where we are witnesses of how the species have adapted to the dry season.
At 12:00 p.m. approx., we have a typical lunch from the area. At 1:00 p.m. approx. we leave the region.
