The PADI DSD is the first supervision diving experience. You learn the basic safety guidelines and skills needed to dive under the direct supervision of a PADI Professional. When you make your open water dive, you’ll practice some more skills in shallow water to prepare for your adventure.
Go over the scuba equipment you use to dive and how easy it is to move around underwater with your gear. Find out what it’s like to breathe underwater. Learn key skills that you’ll use during every scuba dive. Have fun swimming around and exploring. Hear about becoming a certified diver through the PADI Open Water Diver course. The Tavolara discover scuba diving experience in Sardinia, Italy takes maximum half a day. You have the option to do it from the shore or from the beach.
The meeting time is usually around 3pm at the diving center. After a briefing about some basic principles of scuba diving you will go to our bay to learn some diving skills in shallow water with your instructor.
After the shallow training dive you will dive down to 12m of depth enjoying the beautiful marine park of Tavolara.
You will be back to the dive shop around 17:30.
Once completed you will be allowed to dive within 12m of depth or continuing the training to get the Open Water Diver certification within 12 months.
