Led by our qualified instructors, you will head up the river; this trip offers something for beginners, families and groups of friends. We’ll discuss basic paddling technique, local flora and fauna and head upstream towards the exciting canoe shutes which bypass the lochs (yes you can do it again).
We’ll meet the group for this River Medway Kayaking trip at the riverside car park. The great news is there is sometimes free parking.
We’ll get you kitted out with your safety equipment; we’ll send you a recommended kit list prior to the kayaking river trip so you can come prepared.
You will be joining an open River Medway Kayaking trip.
The kayak experience in Kent dates and timings are stated on the website, more can be arranged on request.
The entire river trip will last for approximately 4-5 hours, though this will differ depending on group size.
Groups wishing to book a bespoke trip can do so with a minimum number of 4 participants. This trip can also be arranged for those wishing to complete it as Night Kayaking Adventure, subject to request.
The Canoe Shutes are an exciting element of the trip so ideally, participants need to be confident in the water. There is however the option to miss out on each shute on this trip. (For more info contact the booking office)
This is a start & return trip and a well known Teapot shop and café is nearby providing snacks and hot food all year round.
