Enjoy a New Zealand scuba diving guided tour at a remote and intimate site. Spend a relaxed day at a beautiful local dive site with 2 dives in Whangarei.
You’ll meet at the shop to get any gear you may require for the day (note that gear is not included but can be added for an additional fee). After that you’ll head out to one of Whangarei’s amazing dive sites (the site will depend on the weather). You’ll then spend the day on the beach and do 2 shore dives.
In between dives you can relax on the beach. Depending on the site some things you might see:
– crayfish
– scallops
– plenty of fish big and small – snapper, kingfish, blennys
– octopus
As we are a relatively small town you’ll likely have the dive site to yourselves …. and sometimes the whole beach as well 🙂
You'll meet at the shop around 9am for your New Zealand scuba diving guided tour (this may change depending on the tides) to get geared up. If you need rental equipment we'll fit you in our high quality rental gear applicable for the season.
Head out to the site where you will be guided on 2 Whangarei beach dives. The sites are usually 30min to 1 hour away.
The beach dives vary depending on the site but are not deeper than 18m. Your guide will help you with your gear and point out cool stuff to see on your dive. We may even be able to take some videos or pictures on your dive to share with you so you can show all your friends the great things you saw.
After the diving head back to the shop to drop off & rinse all the gear. We have onsite showers and changing facilities if you need to freshen up also.
Head home and have a great nights sleep after your amazing day!
