This nature & historical horseback riding tour in St. Lucia takes you to the Mabouya Valley and Fond D’or takes you through the banana community of Bexon, and over the rolling hills of Barre D’ Ilise with breath taking sights along the way. This experience features riding through historical trails and sites while your guides provide info about our islands history. The trail continues through the rain forest and features bird watching, crabs, iguanas and other wildlife. You can also collect some of natures medical herbs from the wild as well as fresh fruits or berries. Along the way are banana plantations which goes on for miles then into the ruins of the old sugar mill and continues through the Savannah, meadows and mangroves. The ride continues to the open Atlantic beach where you can sit and relax while sipping on some freshly picked coconut water. You can also canter, gallop or trot.
