Venture aboard Mandrake Whitsundays on a 3 day magical sailing adventure in Queensland. The Mandrake sails 14 guests around the beautiful Whitsundays Islands for two days and two nights. Fall head over heels for the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park and the coral-fringed islands that plunge into the azure waters of the Coral Sea.

Mandrake caters to guests of all ages, sleeping 14 guests and two crew in a mixture of open plan share-single bunks and doubles.

On your first night, drop anchor at a protected spot among the islands. Watch the sky turn scarlet and feast on mouth-watering offerings; all meals are freshly prepared on-board and include spaghetti bolognese, beef tacos, fresh meats, salads, breads, fruits, dips, crackers plus loads more! You won’t go hungry!

Mandrake Whitsundays two-day, two-night tour of the islands can include Whitehaven Beach, Hook Island, Hayman Island, Border Island and Whitsunday Island, with a choice of snorkelling spots at either Luncheon Bay, Caves Cove, Blue Pearl Bay or any of the other awesome locations. Snorkelling equipment, stinger suits/wet suits are all included.

What to expect

The itinerary for the trips is generally left up the the skipper, to choose the best conditions for the day. But this is a rough guide:

After picking the guests up we leave at around 2:30pm. From there we sail across the Whitsunday Passage to the top end of hook island for a snorkel.

After this we move to the anchorage for the evening getting there around 7:30pm.

First thing the next morning we go to Whitehaven Beach and spend about three hours discovering this magical Queensland spot.

After that we sail to the next snorkel spot.

After this the skipper will decide on more swimming, to settle on a beach for the sunset or a sunset sail, then to encourage for the night.

Next morning we sail all the way home to Airlie, on the way home the skipper will look at an additional snorkel, swim or to stop off at a secluded beach.
