Join the adventure tour for an experience on the open Arctic water, where steel and ice meet upon the sea. The drive to Kemi from your hotel will take about 90 minutes. You’ll board the Icebreaker ship Sampo in Kemi and receive the guidance when the ship cruises in the Bothnian Gulf. You will have a chance to use a floating rescue suit to float in the water then. A lunch of salmon or reindeer soup will also be provided.
When you get back to the port in Finland, your next visit is the Kemi Snowcastle, a snow fort rebuilt differently every year, covering more than 13,000 square meters with towers up to 20 meters in height, and launches new ice art exhibitions every year.
