The minimum age for Lake District canyoning in Keswick is 12-years-old.
Meet us at our Keswick Adventures headquarters just outside Keswick. You can park up in our parking area and we'll get you kitted out with your wetsuits and safety equipment.
Once the whole party is ready to go, we'll hop in the Keswick Adventures bus to drive to our starting point (please note, while Covid restrictions are in place, you may need to follow us in your own vehicle to the starting point).
When canyoning in Keswick, there's a walk to the start of the canyon. The walk to Commando Canyon is fairly easy, but is slightly uphill.
Disappearing into the mountain, the adventure begins with our instructors talking you through each stage and getting you tied into the abseils and zip wires. You emerge victorious at the end of the canyon and we'll head back to the bus and HQ to change out of our wet kit.
The entire Lake District canyoning in Keswick experience will last for approximately 1.5-2 hours, though this will differ depending on group size.
