Guided two tank Rarotonga scuba dive experience in the Cook Islands for certified divers to explore the islands best dive sites.
On our guided two tank Rarotonga scuba dive experience in the Cook Islands you will dive two of the islands best dive sites. As we depend very much on sea conditions, we only decide on the day where we dive. The choice of dive sites depends mainly on daily conditions but also on diver experience as well as preferences. Our company dives all the sites around Rarotonga and we always try to bring you to the best sites for the day. When you do multiple dive trips with us, we try hard to get you to different sites so you won’t be diving the same sites over and over.
You will be diving in small groups of maximum 5 divers per trip and we do not mix experienced with inexperienced divers. All our dive trips are guided by one of our experienced dive guides. We do not unnecessarily limit you bottom time but we make sure that everyone stays with dive table/ computer limits.
We always meet at our dive centre in Aroa. We offer morning dive trips at 8:00 am or afternoon at 12:30 pm. For the guided two tank Rarotonga scuba dive experience in the Cook Islands we meet 15 minutes before to complete paperwork and sort out rental dive equipment.
From our dive centre we drive to the boat launching spot of the day, which can be in the North, East or South of the island. At the boat launching spot, dives assemble their equipment and we launch the boat. Boat rides are short, within 5 to 20 minutes.
After the first dive we conduct a surface interval, which varies in length (depending on the dive profile) but is usually around 60 minutes. The surface interval is either conducted on the boat or back on shore. After changing cylinders, we move to the second dive site of the day.
After the second dive we come back to the boat launching site, pull out the boat and drive back to our dive centre to rinse equipment and fill out log books. Trip duration is around 4.5 hours.
