Discover Mermaiding Experience in San Juan, Puerto Rico: Itinerary
1. Check in 15 minutes prior with your professional PADI-certified Mermaid Instructor.
Secure your backpack in our secure bin, and breathe in the fresh air at our tropical vibes meeting point.
2. Kick away all stress, as your instructor walks you through the program and helps you pick out your fins! Let you know if your group prefers a waters-edge experience or deep water swimming using mermaiding techniques taught by your instructor. You should be comfortable with water and be a good swimmer or able to take instruction to learn to use the monofin (single fin on your feet (the mermaid tail).
3. Your instructor will grab the gear and the camera to guide you to one of several incredible sites for an amazing backdrop to your mermaiding photos.
4. Continue to play at waters edge, or move to deeper water for the in-water mermaiding experience (mask and snorkel are optional but helpful).
Your Discover Mermaiding experience introduces you to the joys of mermaiding. If you love it, consider certifying as a PADI Mermaid or Advanced Mermaid. Imagine being a certified mermaid! Adventure Mermaid’s PADI Instructors can certify PADI Mermaids in a half day. Inquire with your instructor.
