Costa Rica Scuba Diving Tour to Catalina’s Archipelago: Itinerary
The Catalina's area is a group of 17 volcanic rock formations, with a large variety of marine life including sharks, turtles, whales, dolphins, mantas, and much more. We provide Costa Rica diving and snorkeling trips to the Catalina Islands all year round. Tip: The best chance to see the highest number of Manta Rays is from late November to early May. Please keep in mind that this is our high season and you should reserve your Costa Rica diving on time. June to September is the best time to potentially encounter tiger sharks, killer whales, humpback whales, whale sharks, pilot whales, and spinner dolphins.
At 7 a.m. we wait for you at our diving center. After a short briefing and after having tried the gear we will take you to the beach where you will board our boat and head toward the Catalina's Archipelago. There you will perform 2 dives in 2 different locations always accompanied by one of our dive masters. In between the 2 dives, you'll be offered some snacks and soft drinks. We'll be back at Tamarindo around noon
