On our Cook Islands guided two tank scuba dive experience in the Rarotonga, you will dive two of the islands best dive sites. As we depend very much on sea conditions, we only decide on the day where we dive. The choice of dive sites depends mainly on daily conditions but also on diver experience as well as preferences. Our company dives all the sites around Rarotonga and we always try to bring you to the best sites for the day. When you do multiple dive trips with us, we try hard to get you to different sites so you won’t be diving the same sites over and over.

You will be diving in small groups of maximum 5 divers per trip and we do not mix experienced with inexperienced divers. All our dive trips are guided by one of our experienced dive guides. We do not unnecessarily limit you bottom time providing everyone stays within dive table/ computer limits.

What to expect

We offer morning dive trips at 7:40 am or afternoon at 12:10 pm, Mondays to Friday except public holidays. For the Cook Islands guided two tank scuba dive experience in the Rarotonga we always meet at our shop in Aroa, where we complete paperwork and sort out rental dive equipment.

From our dive centre we drive to the boat launching spot of the day, which can be in the North, East or South of the island. At the boat launching spot, divers assemble their equipment and we launch the boat. Boat rides are short, within 5 to 20 minutes.

After the first dive we conduct a surface interval, which varies in length (depending on the dive profile) but is usually around 60 minutes. The surface interval is either conducted on the boat or back on shore. After changing cylinders, we move to the second dive site of the day.

After the second dive we come back to the boat launching site, pull out the boat and drive back to our dive centre to rinse equipment and fill out log books. Trip duration is around 4.5 hours.

You will need to bring your dive certification, drinking water and a towel.
