The Catalina’s archipelago is an amazing place to snorkel. Thanks to the tropical climate on the land and the warm water temperatures throughout every season of the year, it is possible to snorkel the area all year round. We offer snorkeling tours that will normally take you to Catalina’s area. Please keep in mind that in the case of bad weather, we might go to Cabo Velas, which is another protected area where you can also see a large variety of marine life.
This is a half-day tour where you will snorkel twice in two different locations of the Catalina area.

Catalina’s Archipelago Snorkeling Experience in Costa Rica: Itinerary
The meeting is at 7:00 a.m. at our diving center. After a short briefing and after having tried your equipment we will take you to the beach where we will board our boat and head toward the Catalina's Archipelago. After approx. 45 minutes of navigation, we will reach our first snorkeling location. At this marvelous spot, we will have the chance to see a lot of marine wildlife such as turtles, pufferfish, dolphins, eagle rays, sharks, manta rays and more! In between the 2 snorkeling sessions you'll be offered some snacks and soft drinks. As soon as we reach our second location, you will jump in the water with your guide for another snorkeling session. We will be back in Tamarindo around noon.
