This Baía do Inferno Natural Park experience in Cape Verde includes a boat ride, snorkel, and a get-together lunch.
Enjoy a marvelous experience of the underwater wonders and landscapes of Baía do Inferno, the newest Natural Park in Cape Verde!
Baía do Inferno, now designated as a Natural Park on Santiago Island, features the largest coastal cliff in Cape Verde and one of the highest in the entire North Atlantic.
It is one of the most majestic places on Santiago Island, with crystal-clear waters and practically untouched corals and reefs due to its distance from cities, making it an ideal location for snorkeling and camping. Our adventure begins with transport from Praia City to the small fishing area of Porto Mosquito. Then, we embark on a boat trip, where all safety measures are ensured by the vessel\’s captain.
On clear weather, it is possible to see Fogo Island, including its active volcano, during the journey, and also some marine species like dolphins, whales, and amazing rock and cave formations along the coast. You have the privilege to observe five of the eight species of seabirds that nest in Cape Verde.
