This is an incredible experience in the Arctic as you will go foraging in the ancient forest, enjoy fishing and maybe a spot of wild swimming.
Taken by the locals, learn how to transform the collected mushrooms into tasty Lappish food. After having lunch and some snacks, head back into the forest again to experience fishing and swimming, surrounded by a calm, beautiful nature. Experience the Lappish way to grill a salmon with birch wood for the lunch, as you gather around a campfire.
Spend your time with your own space in the woods, and feel the peacefulness of the Finnish forest. In the evening, you will relax in a Finnish traditional sauna in a lakeside wooden cottage. Sit back, release all your strains and warm yourself in the gentle heat, and to end your day of Finnish Lapland, see the amazing sunset from the lakeside.

Following your guide, wander into the Lapland forest to enjoy foraging and to pick up fresh mushrooms and berries as you take each step deeper into the magical forest trail. In the inimitable forest covered by a thick layer of snow for more than 8 months, you will find a lot of Arctic natural products and enjoy the wilderness.

The best picking season for most mushrooms and berries runs from late July to early October.
Mushroom season can start as early as mid-May when the first mushrooms begin to emerge, but the serious picking doesn’t start until the same time as berry-picking season when they are more numerous.
