What to expect

Itinerary for the Abel Tasman National Park multi-activity tour in New Zealand.

Departing Nelson, start the day with a spectacular shuttle to Kaiteriteri, Abel Tasman National Park. From Kaiteriteri, Board your boat for a 90-minute scenic cruise along the Abel Tasman coastline to Totoranui, keep a look out for seals and dolphins along the way!

Have a delicious lunch (provided) and explore the golden sands of Totoranui beach before you enjoy a 60 minute scenic shuttle tour from Totaranui Beach to Takaka—learning about the history and environment of Golden Bay.

Upon arriving into Golden Bay you’ll be taken to Te Waikoropupu Springs, discharging 14,000 litres of water per second, the springs are New Zealand's largest freshwater springs and the largest coldwater springs in the southern hemisphere. Stretch your legs with a short 30-minute walk taking you through the forest to a platform that sits partly over the water of Te Waikoropupū Springs.

Leaving the Springs relax and take in the scenery as you are taken to Takaka Airport. Board your georgeous scenic flight from Takaka back over Abel Tasman's pristine beaches back to Nelson. During your flight, you will be wearing a headset so you can talk to others and the pilot, and listen to the pilot's commentary about the places you fly over.

Leaving Kaiteriteri you’ll travel the 60 minutes by shuttle over ‘Marble Mountain’ back to Takaka for your return scenic flight to Wellington.
