Velvet adventure sailing provide all inclusive adventurous yachting holidays aboard an Oyster 55 with 2 professional staff. You can join the crew in the Lofoten Islands and Arctic Norway in the Summer or The Canary Islands in the winter. We also sail in Madeira, the Azores, Northern Spain, Ireland, West coast of Scotland and Shetland Islands as we journey between Norway and Lanzarote.
Oysters are world renowned as being seaworthy in all conditions as well as comfortable to live on. There are 3 guest cabins with upper and lower bunks so you may book an individual space and not have to share a bed with a stranger. The trip is fully catered by the on board staff, all you have to do is helm the boat and pull the ropes, with a bit of washing up!
Velvet adventure sailing do not run courses, but real on the water adventures. Each trip the itinerary is designed to make the most of the weather we experience. This type of trip is ideal as a step up for day skippers and flotilla skippers who want to go further afield or try something new without the responsibility of being in charge.
Velvet choose the itineraries depending on what the weather and the location have to offer. There is time and opportunity to enjoy helming, pull on the ropes, enjoy the scenery from the aft seats, practice navigation as well as look out for birds, whales and dolphins.
Often anchoring in secluded bays and take the dinghy ashore. We leave plenty of time to explore on the land and participate in other activities such as swimming, walking, climbing, fishing and anything else that is available.
