Secluded in the beautiful pine forests of Le Pin Sec, just 50 metres from the surf, lies the unique and almost secret Feral Surf Tipi Village. Along the stunning Atlantic coast, it is here we find the perfect spot if you want to surf, party or relax. Just outside of Bordeaux, the Medoc region is famous for its sun, sea, food and wine.
Our camp and surf spots are ideal for either complete beginner or advanced surfer. If you are beginner our surf lessons are designed to get you up and riding waves competently and safely. Just outside Bordeaux, Le Pin Sec is a beautiful region of France.
The area has a wonderful communal feel, with nearby surf towns that have a real surfer’s vibe to them, with plenty of restaurants, bars, cafés and surf shops. There are thriving markets, street arts, music and entertainment scene during the summer months. The Famous Lacanau-Ocean surf spot is a well known and popular surf town, which is just 25mins from the camp.
Our unique specially designed Tipi accommodation is a one of a kind space for our guests to relax and unwind after a full day of surfing. Offering unrivalled quality and comfort for our guests. Each Tipi is fitted with comfy beds, real carpet, funky lighting and English plug sockets.
You will not find any other company offering such amazingly high standards. The Camp itself is limited to 20 guests at any one time. This allows us to maintain the high standards and quality that Feral is known for. This also allows the guests and staff to get to know each other individually creating a big family communal atmosphere.
Whether you’re hanging out in the hammock zone, having a beer at the feral bar, or getting suited up by the board shack about to have twilight surf with some mates, we can guarantee that like all of our guests, you won’t want to leave.
The Camp has all the amenities that you could ever need, including on-site hot showers and toilet facilities. You will need to bring your own sleeping bag though!
