This Sussex rock climbing course takes place at Harrisons rocks which is part of the southern sandstone crags in Sussex and Kent. Not far from Tunbridge Wells, their is easy to access and only a 45 minute drive from London or Brighton. You’ll experience climbing on sandstone in a picturesque setting surrounded by beautiful woodland.
Scaling the rocks is an electrifying feeling and the sense of achievement upon reaching the top is unlike any other. You will be guaranteed to finish the course buzzing with a real sense of adventure and achievement when you look back at the climbs you have conquered.

Whether you want to climb to the top of every mountain or just hope to get your feet off the ground, they’ll make sure there is a challenge for everyone!
The Sussex rock climbing course starts with an introduction and safety briefing from our climbing instructors. We then head to the rocks for some warm up bouldering problems.
Your instructors will then show you how to fit your climbing harness and helmet. Then comes the techy part as we teach you how to tie your climbing knots and belay each other using group belay methods.
Once the basics are learnt the fun really begins as you scale the 30-40ft rocks! You’ll learn about correct climbing technique and experience some great sandstone climbs at Harrisons rocks.
