SSI & PADI Advanced Open Water Diving Course in the Maldives

5 dives -> for SSI, all dives “a la carte”, for PADI, 2 mandatory (Deep and Underwater navigation) and 3 “a la carte”.

Minimum age: 10 years old (up to 14 years old: JUNIOR)
Maximum depth: 30 meters
(12 meters for JUNIOR up to 11 years old, 21 meters for JUNIOR up to 14 years old)

You will have to complete 5 exciting advanced dives (deep, Nitrox, navigation, drift, night, wreck, fish identification, boat, etc…) with their 5 corresponding theory.

This is your next step after the SSI/PADI Open Water Level.

What to expect

SSI & PADI Advanced Open Water Diving Course in the Maldives: Itinerary

After filling-up the mandatory paperwork (liability release, medical form, etc...), you will try out and be issued with the necessary diving equipment.

You will then be issued a manual or a e-course via the app, so as to work on the theoretical part of the class at your own pace.

If you decide to go for the SSI Advanced Adventurer course, you will have to complete 5 exciting adventure dives "a la carte": Deep, Nitrox, Wave/ Tide & Current (drift), Night (extra charge), Wreck, Shark Ecology, etc...

If you choose to do the PADI Advanced course, there will be 2 mandatory dives (deep and underwater navigation) and 3 of your choice between Wreck, Drift, Boat dive, Nitrox , Night (extra charge), Fish ID, Peak Performance Buoyancy but to name a few.
The underwater navigation will take place in the shallow & protected waters of Maafushi's lagoon, from the local beach.
