To fly as a tandem passenger, no previous experience is required – with our tandem flights, you just need to bring your sense of adventure, a pair of sturdy closed shoes, a long-sleeved top and some refreshments for afterwards.
You will be flown by Jan or Khobi-Jane (SAHPA A-rated Tandem Flights Instructor), or one of their team, on these introductory flights to paragliding. Our priority is to be safe, to have fun, and help you create some beautiful flying memories. We’ve flown over 10 000 tandems and would love for you to experience the exhilaration of having a bird’s eye-view of nature with one of our instructors!
We offer tandem paragliding flights whenever the weather is suitable for a safe and sustained flight.
South Africa Tandem Paragliding Flight Itinerary:
We are totally weather dependent and require the right wind direction and wind speed for a good flight.
Over the past 23 years we have found the most efficient system has been for us to whatsapp/SMS you in the afternoon on the day before your booking and give you an expected start time, we then confirm location on the morning of the booking.
If you are available, then we need to have a SMS/whats app or phone call confirming your availability.
This means that you can plan your day, as after all you are on holiday and we do not want to have you sitting on a flying site waiting for the weather to change. :-)
Of course if you do not have a mobile phone this is no problem, we just need a South African contact number.
The location will depend on the wind speed and direction for the day, and hence why we contact you on the mornings that you are interested in flying.
