The dive today philosophy is what makes this course so great. Once you have signed up you will be in full scuba gear and breathing underwater within the day and will learn to scuba dive in Dauin.
This Philippines PADI open water course is available for anyone over 10 years old. The course can be completed in 3-4 days and upon completion you will receive a PADI open water certificate that is accepted worldwide.
The course consists of :
* 5 classroom sessions where you learn the fundamentals and safety aspects of diving in our multimedia air con classrooms
* 5 confined water sessions which are conducted in our dedicated dive training pool. During these sessions you will take your first breaths underwater and learn all the skills necessary to make you a diver
* 4 open water dives take place at different ocean dive sites, you will go to a depth of 12mts/40ft on the first 2 dives and then down to 18mts/60ft on your final dives
The course is conducted by one of our in house trained PADI dive instructors
The Philippines PADI open water course is spread over 3-4 days, with half the day being in the classroom and the other half in the water. A typical day will start around 8am and finish around 5pm, with a nice lengthy lunch break in the middle.
The classroom sessions include watching a PADI video, answering some knowledge review questions and then taking a short multiple choice exam. The confined water sessions involve conducting a number of underwater skills each one demonstrated by your instructor first.
The open water dives are where you practice the skills and knowledge acquired through both classroom and confined water sessions, all the while being monitored by your instructor.
Learn to scuba dive in Dauin has rather quick learning curve. By the end of your final dive you will be a confident diver ready to go and explore more of the underwater world
