If you have never dived and always wanted to pass the first level 1 PADI (Open water dive, worldwide recognition), no problem! The PADI Open Water Diver Course certification allows you to dive up to 18 meters under.
The classes are in small groups (maximum 4 divers per multilingual instructor), are very progressive and last three half-days. You will alternate between theory(book provided), practical exercises in and out of the water about how to use your gear, communicate underwater, etc.
You will do 4 distinct dives in different environments : open air cenote and reef (depending on the weather forecast).
After reading the book, you’ll take a MCQ exam and receive your PADI certification card at home a few weeks later.

3-and-a-half day PADI Open Water Diver Course Itinerary
The first day of the course (from 8:30 to 12:30), we'll meet in our dive center to give you all the material to begin and read the book and watch the video by yourselves in your hotel later. You'll try all your equipment and go to an open air cenote in the middle of the mangrove : casa cenote (15 minutes from Tulum). There we'll explain you everything you have to know to be able to do your first diving. Underwater, we'll do some practical exercises and your first diving.
The second half day, we'll go again to Casa cenote and finish the obligatory exercises and do your second dive.
The third half day, we'll take a boat and go Scuba Diving in Tulum, Mexico at the archaeological site if the weather forecast is good. This will be two reef dives.
Then (the same day or the day after), if you've finished to read your book and watch the video, we'll do your exam (40 questions, count about 2 hours) and when you've passed it, we'll register your certification on PADI website and a few weeks after (about 4), you'll receive your PADI Open Water certification card by mail at home.
