PADI OPEN WATER DIVER
This course is the world’s most popular and widely recognized scuba course. Millions of people have learned to scuba dive and fell in love with our seas. If you’ve always wanted to take scuba diving lessons and experience adventure, this is where it starts.
To enrol in the PADI Open Water Diver course (or Junior Open Water Diver course), you must be 10 years old or older. You need adequate swimming skills and need to be in good physical health. No prior experience with scuba diving is required.

MASK & SNORKEL UPGRADE
The fit and comfort of your personal equipment are key to having an enjoyable diving experience. As a minimum, you should own your own mask and snorkel, however, we’d recommend you owned your own fins as well when you first begin your course
NITROX DIVER UPGRADE
The PADI Enriched Air Diver course is PADI\’s most popular specialty diving course, and it\’s easy to see why. Scuba diving with enriched air nitrox gives you more no decompression dive time. This means more time underwater, especially on repetitive scuba dives and get back the water sooner and that\’s why so many divers choose this as their very first specialty.
The course takes 3 days from 8.30am - 3.00pm and consists of the following:
- 5 Videos with Quick Quizzes / Book with 5 Chapters & Knowledge Reviews / Final Exam
- 5 Pool Sessions to learn skills for safety
- 4 Open Water Dives to repeat the skills and enjoy diving practicing buoyancy & technique along the way
We now do the theory part of the Open Water Course with the E-Learning option and it saves you time so you can have more fun in the water and possibly enjoy a few pleasure dives afterwards, this allows you to watch the videos in a language of your choice, read the manual and complete the knowledge reviews online at home before you arrive – We recommend giving yourself at least 1 – 2 weeks if you have a busy lifestyle to have this ready
The course starts from 450 Euros including the E-Learning, all the equipment, training and online log book along with the certificate. A paper log book is available for 25 Euros if you prefer. There are no hidden extras.
All we need is your email address, full names and dates of birth to allocate a code from our account, you will receive a link to register and open your book & videos to start the course.... PADI will mark your quizzes and final exam and notify me when it is completed...
Bring swimwear, towel and money for lunch/snacks and payment for the course can be made by card or cash
We like you to be at Divewise for 8.30am so let me know where you are staying so we can arrange a time to collect you from your hotel if you are in our pick up zone, if you haven't booked anything yet I have enclosed an attachment for you to look at with some suggestions close by to suit different budgets and tastes and they are within 5 - 10 minutes walking distance
** If you take ANY medication, have a history of asthma, use an inhaler, have been affected by Covid 19 or you are 60 years or over - you MUST bring a doctors letter to confirm you are fit for scuba diving please for our files - See Medical attached and confirm before booking **
