The students will learn the use of one or two cylinders for sidemount open water dives , gear set up and streamlining, proper trim and gas management. Feel free to contact us for any questions you might have about Mexico scuba diving.
Prerequisites being 18 year old, Advanced Diver with minimum 25 logged dives. 120 minutes of bottom time must be completed and 1 confined water session.
To complete the open water sidemount course Playa del Carmen students need 4 days , the cost per day will be usd 180. Extra costs will be the workbook usd 45 and the certification fee, usd 40. Rental equipment will be an extra cost and must be reserved in advanced.

At the start of this open water sidemount course Playa del Carmen we meet at 8:30 in our shop where we do theory. After we go in the ocean with our boat to learn how to use the side mount. Every day is a new experience.
We have our own boat with our expert and gentle crew offering Mexico scuba diving. We dive in Playa del carmen in different dive spot where you can practice your skills.
Now people who want to dive with different configuration or have problem to dive with heavy doubles can use side mount and enjoy diving in deep walls or narrow caves without carrying a ton of equipment. If you have back problem try side mount diving and you will feel the difference. We start our courses with Open Water Side mount diver and get in more advanced levels.
