Have your first experience of breathing under water on the Mexico Discover Scuba Diving Course in Xcalak. Learn the basics on a PADI affiliated course.
Have you always wondered what it’s like to breathe underwater? If you want to try scuba diving, but aren’t quite ready to commit the time or money to a full certification course, then the Mexico Discover Scuba Diving Course in Xcalak is for you. The good news is that you can also credit this experience towards the full certification if you get the “bug” and decide you want to continue.
WHY XTC?:
Location, location, location… We are based in a small, sleepy fishing village called Xcalak, which borders the Caribbean sea to the east and Chetumal Bay to the west. This makes us part of a unique, extremely connected, and bio-diverse eco-system made up of 15 miles of protected coral reefs, mangroves, rivers, lagoons and bays. It certainly is a nature lover’s paradise!
The Mexico Discover Scuba Diving Course in Xcalak lasts for around half a day, starting with a 1 hour (more or less) classroom session, followed by practice time in the pool or confined water and an open water dive from the boat.
