Mexico advanced open water scuba diving course in Xcalak

Not as the name suggests… you do not need to be an “advanced” diver to take this course, nor will it make you an “advanced” diver (only experience will do this). The PADI Advanced Open Water course has been designed to give you different experiences within the diving and allows you to work with your instructor to build your scuba skills and gain more confidence. It will also allow you to increase your maximum qualified depth to 30 meters/ 100 feet.

You will need to take five adventure dives, including deep and navigation, in order to achieve the certification. If you decide that you like the adventure dive and want to dig a little deeper into that particular type of diving, then each adventure Dive may credit toward the first dive of the corresponding PADI Specialty Diver Course.

We are based in a small, sleepy fishing village called Xcalak, which borders the Caribbean
Sea to the east and Chetumal Bay to the west. This makes us part of a unique, extremely connected and bio-diverse eco-system made up of 15 miles of protected coral reefs, mangroves, rivers, lagoons and bays. It certainly is a nature lover’s paradise!
