Join this Mexican Caribbean PADI Scuba Diver Course in Xcalak to your dive certification in this stunning part of Mexico!
The PADI Scuba Diver course is a subset of the PADI Open Water Diver course. If you don’t have enough time, but you still want to get a diving qualification, then the PADI Scuba Diver rating might be the right choice for you.
This Mexican Caribbean PADI Scuba Diver Course in Xcalak follows the same sequence as the Open Water Diver certification, so if you decide to continue on to Open Water later, then you will only need to complete the remaining elements, you won’t need to repeat what you have already done (only to show that you remember).
PADI Scuba Divers are qualified to dive under the direct supervision of a PADI Professional to a maximum depth of 12 meters/40 feet. They are able to obtain air fills, rent or purchase scuba equipment and participate in dive activities as long as they are supervised by a PADI Professional. PADI Scuba Divers can also continue their dive training by completing the PADI Open Water Diver certification and taking certain specialty diver courses.

The PADI Scuba Diver Course generally lasts for two days, starting with a half-day classroom session to cover the three sections of theory (unless Elearning has been done, in which case a quick review is all that is needed). Once the classroom session is complete the Instructor will introduce several scuba skills and allow for practice time in the pool or confined water, as well as completing the waterman skill exercise.
