Learn to Scuba Dive by taking a Koh Lipe PADI Open Water course. This beginner scuba dive course in Thailand will teach you to dive in 4 days on beautiful Koh Lipe
The Koh Lipe PADI Open Water course is the first course in the PADI Scuba Diving system. You need to be at least 10 years old to take this course and be in reasonable fitness and be able to either answer No to all of the questions on the PADI medical form or get the sign off from a diving physician or your doctor to confirm that you are medically fit to dive.
The Beginner scuba dive course in Thailand is run over 4 days and includes introductory diving theory where you will watch the PADI videos that explain how diving effects your body and explains how the different parts of the dive equipment that you will be using works. Then you will practice using the equipment in shallow water just off the beach running through the different skills that you will preform whilst completing your 4 Open Water dives. Then on the 3rd and 4th days of the course you will complete the dives for the course two on each day.
You will start off on the first day of this beginner scuba dive course in Thailand going through the basic dive theory and watching PADI's introductory dive videos. Then on the second day of the Koh Lipe PADI Open Water you will complete the theory part of the course and complete the confined water sessions in shallow water just off the beach in front of the dive shop.
Then on day 3 of the course you will head out to explore some of the dive sites around Koh Lipe in the Tarutao National Marine park whilst you complete dives 1 & 2 of the course. Then on the fourth day of the course we head out on our morning dive boat for the final two dives of the course before returning to the dive shop to complete your diving log books and certification.
Your Instructor will complete your certification and you will get a confirmation email from PADI and then you are able to dive anywhere in the world and all you need to do is tell the dive centre you are going to be diving with your name and date of birth and they'll be able to check your certification details online with PADI.
